Mile 22: Mark Wahlberg this inexhaustible patriot
As usual, Wahlberg plays the role of patriot James Silva, a CIA agent of a top-secret special unit known as Overwatch (Yes, we know, "Heroes never die").
Silva's task: Explaining an Indonesian agent. It sounds simple enough, but Mark Wahlberg's show (actor Iko Uwais) is actively sought after - he has information about where four kilos of stolen radioactive isotopes are, and his government really wants, really, really, shut him up. And as in any good action movie that respects itself, it explodes enemies kick back.
Fortunately, two Bad-girls come to lend a hand to Mark Wahlberg: Lauren Cohan, who begins to accumulate experience by shooting zombies by the hundreds in Walking Dead, and Ronda Rousey who, she, disguises people in the real life.
Produced by STXFilms, which also recently announced the production of a new Muscle franchise featuring Vin Diesel, this is Wahlberg's fourth partnership with Peter Berg. In addition to blood and tears, they have already worked together on Traque in Boston and Deepwater.
